Brazil sits at the top of the list of the world's coffee supply in terms of volume and is a common component found in espresso blends due to its typical chocolatey flavours. This coffee is processed using the pulped natural method, common in Brazil, which delivers its creamy body.
Process: Pulp Natural
Certification: Rainforest Alliance
Body: Medium Creamy
Aroma: Woody & Nutty
Cup Notes: Dark Chocolate, Chestnuts, Raisin, Caramel Sweetness
Roasted for espresso, stovetop or great in a plunger brew too.
Since this bean is processed with the pulped natural method, some of the cherry mucilage is left on the green bean and even after a bumpy trip through our drum roaster we find evidence of it, in the form of flakey chaff. It's completely harmless but just in case you're wondering...
