The 58mm flat palm tamper for espresso machines has been designed with a quick locking mechanism that enables you to consistently tamp perfectly flat, to the required depth, every time. This results in much greater consistency between your shots.
The tamper is a solid stainless steel construction and is handle-less which is easier on your wrists.
The 58mm size portafilter is the most common, especially for E61 group handles.
